Your safety matters! – Latest updates on the current COVID-19 situation


As part of the Swiss government’s decision to control the spread of Covid-19, we are carefully monitoring the situation. In this sense, and since the health of our guests is our priority, we have decided not to host any event at the Caux Conference and Seminar Centre until 30 April 2020 included.

Nevertheless, our reservations and events offices remain open during regular business hours (Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm).

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Our ‘Summer Special’ offer remains valid and you may book your event tailored to your needs as from 8 June 2020. Our cancellation policies have been adapted to the exceptional situation.

 

PAYMENT POLICY  
(valid from 19.3.2020 until further notice due to COVID-19)

In order to definitely confirm your booking, we will ask for a 25% deposit from the total quoted amount 30 days prior to your arrival. 

The total remaining amount of your bill, including all extra charges and supplements, will be invoiced at the end of your stay. This final invoice is to be paid within 30 days via bank transfer. 

In case of individual invoicing, all participants need to settle their bills prior to their departure (via bank transfer, in cash CHF/Euro/USD or by credit- / debit card). Thank you for your kind understanding.  

 

CANCELLATION POLICY  
(valid from 19.3.2020 until further notice due to COVID-19)

We currently accept all reservations for summer 2020 (June, July, August) on a tentative status until 30 days prior to the event without any financial impact for our guests. This rule may be extended until October 2020 depending on the further development of COVID-19.

Any reserved event is definitely confirmed only 30 days prior to the arrival date with the deposit payment of 25% of the total invoice. 

In case of a cancellation of the entire event less than 30 days prior to the arrival date, the deposit of 25% will not be refunded but retained to be used for the event taking place for an alternative date at your convenience in 2020. 

  • If our guests are not able to postpone the event within 2020, the deposit payment will be lost. 
  • If the Conference and Seminar Center is not able to offer adequate alternative dates, the deposit can be either moved into the year 2021 or be refunded.
